Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention, Freak Out album on the Verve label. Recently sold on eBay for $62. This is probably a very early issue cartridge, possibly pre-1970.

Rare 8 Track Tape - Kiss: Animalize

This rare 8 track tape is Animalize by Kiss. It was released in 1984 on the Mercury label and distributed by Columbia House tape club. The copy pictured recently sold on eBay for $123. This is probably the last Kiss release on 8 track tape.

8 Track of the Week - U2 Rattle and Hum

This week's 8 track tape of the week is U2's Rattle and Hum. A sealed copy (pictured) sold this week on eBay for $300. This 1988 record club release is one of the last 8 track tapes that was produced. At that point the cassette tape had taken over and 8 tracks were pretty much a dead format.
